What is/was your daily routine as a college student?
I am a First year MBBS student at Armed forces medical College, Pune. University exams(final exams) being around the corner my day is all frantic and chaos. Studying without being called a book worm is Quite a task, but that’s what college is all about right?
My day starts at 5:00 hrs. With mild exercise and stretching followed by a cup of green tea my day comes into being.
Two Pomodoro sessions of 45 minutes each intervened by 5 minutes break is what my morning
study session looks like.
As prelims are around the corner I usually revise the First term syllabus in the morning session. I call it Morning revision Run.
That 5 minute break is nothing but me gazing the aesthetics of the nature through my window.
I take a shower and get ready by 8:00 hrs. Go to the Central Cadet Mess for my breakfast and reach class for the morning lectures from 8:30–10:30 hrs.
10:30–11:00 hrs is a short break in which I usually used to go to the canteen but these days I sit in the class and active recall my morning lectures.
11:00–13:00 hrs is practical time.
13:00–14:00 hrs is lunch break.
14:00- 16:00 hrs is the time we spend killing our nasal cells with formalin smell in the dissection hall.
I come back to hostel, Take a quick nap and then go for sports around 16:40 hrs. Being an integral member of College cricket club I stay on the ground till about 19:00 hrs till the dusk falls in.
19:00–20:00 hrs I workout in my room with the equipment's I have.
20:00 hrs I go for my dinner and then come back by 20:30 hrs.
20:30–21:30 I talk to my family back in UP.
21:30–23:30- 4 pomodoro sessions. Currently am studying Neauroanatomy in these sessions.

Here's what my average weekday was like in college, 2012-2015:
6:15am Wake up. Check the daily news, stretch (do yoga if there's time), look at daily schedule, study notes, apply makeup, style hair, pick out business casual clothes, dress, pack bag for the day (include water bottle and dried fruit/nuts)
7:30am Breakfast in the cafeteria
7:55-9:55am Work in the university offices
10-10:50am Class 1
11-11:50am Class 2
11:50-12:15 Lunch in the cafeteria with friends
12:15-1:25pm Class 3
1:30-3pm Work in university offices again
3-5pm Peer tutoring in the library, or Netflix/reading/HW if no one shows up for help
5-6pm Dinner in the cafeteria with friends, HW
6-8pm Tutoring by appointment, or HW if I don't have any appointments
9-11pm Study group for exam prep, hang out with friends, or more HW
11pm Return to dorm room to prepare for bed, or Netflix time
12am Actual bedtime (maybe)
Basically, I worked 20 hours per week and attended classes 20+ hours per week. I also co-ran a club with my best friend, worked as a teaching assistant for a few courses, and socialized whenever I had the time. There were some days with 8-10 hours of classes and no work, and other days with 2 hours of class and 8 hours of work. I volunteered, slept, and did laundry on the weekends, but I rarely needed to do homework on Fridays or Saturdays.
It worked out pretty well for me. I graduated a bit early, only got two Bs, and received great recommendations from my various work supervisors. I wouldn't do it all over again, though.
